Veterinary Surgeon

Role Summary

Veterinary Surgeon – Onsite, Bristol.

Contract: Part Time (considered, flexible) or Full Time, Permanent.

Practice Type: First opinion.

Salary: Competitive, up to £60,000 (DOE) – Full Time Equivalent.

Hours: 1:5 Saturdays, No OOH. Main base: Eastville; shifts may be required at other Highcroft Group 3 practices (Ashton, Shirehampton, Victoria).

Responsibilities

• Primary care OOH consultations.
• Member practice case transfers.
• Inpatient care.
• Medical work‑ups.
• Routine and emergency surgery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2+ years small‑animal veterinary experience.
• Strong medical knowledge and experience in routine and emergency surgery.
• Good ultrasound scanning skills.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• RCVS and VDS registration (fees paid in full).
