Accountant / Management Accountant

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll own the General Ledger and Balance Sheet integrity, drive the month-end close, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Financial Control: Full ownership of the General Ledger, reconciliations, stock reconciliations and supplier statements. Month-End: Deliver P&L and Balance Sheet within 7 days, manage accruals, prepayments, and payroll journals. Compliance: VAT returns, ONS submissions, and audit support. Fixed Assets: depreciation postings. Weekly accounts and overhead analysis. Strong foundation in management accounting and good Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP). A commercially aware and detail-driven individual, able to thrive under pressure, looking to progress and develop a career in accounting.
