Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team. This is a pivotal role, working across the marketing and sales team to strengthen our relationships with existing clients as well as develop new relationships with a focus on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Reporting to the Sales Director.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular and professional communication with existing clients, ensuring we are aware of all their project requirements.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the architectural and construction sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, developers, and private clients.
  • Negotiate partnerships with various companies for future secure revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to create project proposals for potential projects, using tailored solutions that meet client needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
  • Track market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Keep in regular verbal contact with key clients and customers, ensuring IQ Glass is never far from their minds when specifying glass.
  • Develop relationships through meetings and verbal communication.
  • Target key B2B clients to arrange meetings and/or CPD seminars in person and online.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling CPD’s, sales presentations and proposals.
  • Organise and undertake meetings and visits to our glazing design studio in Amersham.
  • Research and develop new relationships with architects, contractors, developers or other specifiers to increase revenue and growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, technical, and project management) to ensure client requirementsare met.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM tools.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform business strategy.
  • Telephone, Teams and Email communication with key clients and customers, recording all correspondence on the CRM and feeding information to the relevant teams.
  • Work with the marketing team to create compelling sales presentations and proposals for client meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure we are providing an exceptional front-end service.
  • Work with the sales team to strategically plan proactive communications in a way that encourages engagement on existing opportunities and repeat business.
  • Deliver presentations and technical CPD seminars to chosen companies, either in person or via Teams.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a target driven individual with experience in business development, ideally within the construction, glazing, or architectural sectors.
