Job Description:

TDK is a supplier to some of the most diverse, technology based and original equipment manufacturers worldwide including global organisations within the Industrial, Medical and Test & Measurement markets.

A vacancy has arisen for a commercially driven, technically savvy Product Manager to take ownership of a key portfolio of TDK-Lambda’s power supply solutions. This is a high-impact role with influence on product strategy, driving innovation, and bringing cutting‑edge technologies to market across Europe.

From concept to end‑of‑life, the successful candidate will be at the heart of the product lifecycle, working with global teams, engaging customers, and ensuring our products stay competitive, profitable, and best‑in‑class.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • To define and execute product strategies and roadmaps
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and new growth opportunities which translate customer needs into clear product specifications
  • Influence business cases for new product development
  • Contribute to products from concept through launch to eventual retirement
  • Manage pricing, profitability, and performance against targets whilst continuously improving cost, quality, and competitiveness
  • Support product launches with strong go-to-market strategies
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the business
  • Support sales teams with positioning, training, and customer engagement
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and industry developments
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with key stakeholders at all levels of the business including marketing, R&D, operations, and global colleagues
  • Engage directly with customers, distribution partners, and stakeholders across EMEA

Skills, experience and qualifications required:

  • Knowledge of power supply operation, specifications and safety requirements is essential.
  • As well as working as part of a team, the ability to work alone and being able to prioritise tasks is essential.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint)
  • Knowledge of power supply technologies (AC/DC, DC/DC, SMPS)
  • Strong commercial awareness (pricing, margins, product performance)
  • Ability to analyse markets, competitors, and customer requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Engineering qualification (degree, HND, or equivalent) is desirable as is experience working across product development or lifecycle management and familiarity with NPI processes and working with global teams.

Working week:

37.5 hours per week – Mon to Thu 7.30 – 16.30 (45-minute lunchbreak)

Fri 7.30 – 12.00 – Flexitime would be applicable

Salary:

Up to £65k dependent on experience with company car.
