Specialty Doctor in Emergency Medicine with CESR Support

We are recruiting for a Specialty Doctor in Emergency Medicine position at an NHS Trust in the West Midlands, offering a permanent contract. If you are interested or know someone who might be, please contact us.

Our client is a leading, modern hospital serving approximately three million people, with facilities across Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford. The hospital has around 1,450 inpatient beds, a dedicated workforce of 11,000 staff, and is a regional centre for major trauma.

The department is known for its training and support, with experienced FRCEM examiners, CESR application support, and an RCEM CESR evaluator. A tailored training program and a designated Educational Supervisor are provided. The department offers 24/7 registrar cover, extended Consultant hours, and a resident Trauma Team Leader rota.

The role involves managing acutely ill or trauma patients, with opportunities to develop leadership skills, participate in trust leadership courses, and engage in work-based assessments aligned with CESR requirements. The post also involves supporting the training of staff across disciplines, including students and paramedics.
