Volunteering Officer
Hours: 24.5 hours per week, working Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday morning.Salary: £25,010 Pro rata (actual salary £17,507 for 24.5 hours per week).Location: BikeAbility Wales (Dunvant Rugby Club, Swansea, SA2 7RU).
BikeAbility are a small, friendly local charity helping people of all ages and abilities enjoy cycling. They are looking for a Volunteering Officer to help recruit and support volunteers, including young volunteers and those who are disabled or neurodiverse.
Volunteers are at the heart of everything BikeAbility Wales does and they have lots of amazing, experienced, dedicated volunteers.
We are looking for someone with great organisation and people skills. The role involves finding new volunteers, supporting existing ones, improving volunteering support systems and processes, and working with the team to gain Investing in Volunteers accreditation.
As this is a small charity, you will also have the opportunity to respond to client queries and deliver cycling activity sessions and guided rides.
