Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Wholesale Manager to take ownership of our wholesale strategy, manage existing retail accounts and open new doors across priority international markets.

You will be the day-to-day voice of MARCO DAL MASO with department stores, multi-brand boutiques, online luxury retailers and concept stores. You will be the commercial counterweight the founder needs — holding the difficult conversations on his behalf so his personal relationship with retailers stays intact — and you will bring the structure, discipline and follow-through needed to scale the wholesale channel properly. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy position.

You Will:

•    Develop and execute the wholesale strategy across priority markets: account selection, channel mix, sell-in planning and longer-term distribution roadmap.

•    Manage and grow current retail relationships while identifying and opening new, commercially relevant doors.

•    Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of department stores, multi-brand boutiques, online luxury platforms and concept stores. Lead buyer outreach, meetings, negotiation and account conversion.

•    Own the line-sheet sell-in process for each collection and refine wholesale materials — line sheets, lookbooks, pricing documents, buyer decks, order forms.

•    Build and maintain a clear B2B commercial framework: terms of trade, pricing architecture, discount discipline, MAP guidance and margin protection.

•    Partner with production and operations on lead times, capsule planning and exclusive product allocations for wholesale partners.

•    Oversee trade-show and showroom strategy, working with separate freelance or operational support for in-store execution. Your remit is the commercial opportunity and the deal.

•    Report regularly on pipeline, account health, sell-in, sell-through, reorder potential and forward forecast. Define and track clear KPIs.

Who We Are Looking For:

•    Five to seven years’ minimum experience in wholesale or B2B sales for a luxury jewellery, accessories or fashion brand. Established, verifiable buyer relationships across UK and EU are essential. US, Middle East or Japan experience is a strong advantage.

•    A proven record of opening new doors and growing existing accounts, with revenue and margin to evidence it.

•    Diplomatic, direct and unflappable. We need someone hard-nosed but likeable: able to say no to a retailer on Monday and have them back on the phone on Tuesday.

•    Strong judgement in a founder-led environment — knowing when to lead, when to defer and when to protect the relationship.

•    Aligned to a UK time zone, London-based ideally. Fluent English; Italian or another European/Middle Eastern language is a meaningful advantage.
