Maintenance Engineer – Days (BBBH271118) – Bury St Edmunds, England

Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 per annum.

Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a successful organisation offering long‑term job security and a modern working environment. Core Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance tasks across the site (preventative, reactive and project work).
• Log non‑conformances, faults and errors.
• Report directly to the Engineering Manager on projects, issues and Health & Safety matters.
• Work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm.

Qualifications & Experience

• Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance background.
• Hands‑on experience in manufacturing, production, offshore, marine or engineering equipment.
• Knowledge of 3‑phase systems, drives and motors.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices.
• Ex‑forces experience (REME, aircraft, navy, marine, RAF) is encouraged; full training provided.
• Relevant engineering qualifications.
• Background in FMCG, manufacturing, engineering or warehousing & distribution is ideal.
