As a Senior Cost Consultant, you’ll play a key role in leading cost management and commercial strategy across complex projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s confident working autonomously, enjoys solving problems quickly, and wants to influence project outcomes while mentoring others.
- Lead cost planning, commercial management and procurement strategies
- Provide expert advice to clients on cost control, value management and risk
- Manage tender processes, contract documentation and commercial negotiations
- Oversee project financial performance from inception through to completion
- Guide and mentor junior staff, supporting their development and learning
- Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to deliver outcomes that leave things better
Skills & Experience
- Experience within cost consultancy or commercial management
- Strong understanding of construction cost management principles
- Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
- Good analytical and reporting skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and cost reporting tools
- Professional accreditation or working towards chartership desirable
