Panel Wireman – Contract Opportunity

Location: Ipswich

Type: Contract

A client of mine is currently looking for an experienced Panel Wireman to join their team in Bedford.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wiring and assembly of electrical control panels from schematics and drawings
• Installation of components including relays, contactors, PLCs, and terminal blocks
• Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and layout drawings
• Carrying out point-to-point wiring and cable routing
• Testing and fault-finding on completed panels

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Panel Wireman or Electrical Fitter
• Ability to read and work from electrical schematics
• Experience with control panels and industrial equipment
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Relevant electrical qualifications desirable
• City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations or equivalent
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
