Job Title: Senior Design Engineer
Rate: £47.04 per hour
Contract Length: 24 months Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Design Engineer to support major new product development programmes within a globally recognised engineering environment. This role focuses on delivering robust design solutions for advanced engine systems. Design and development of engine components (castings, geartrain, valvetrain, drivetrain, in-cylinder components) Support system-level design (cooling, lubrication, breather, FEAD) Lead project tasks and manage deliverables Perform FMEA and risk analysis Participate in design reviews and validation activities Minimum 6 years’ experience in design engineering Advanced CAD skills (Creo preferred) Knowledge of casting, machining, and manufacturing processes Experience with assembly principles and design validation Off-highway or diesel engine experience Long-term contract with strong project pipeline…
