JOB TITLE: Field Service Engineer – Injection Moulding Machines LOCATION: West Midlands (can also cover UK and Ireland) SALARY: £45k+, company car, bonus, overtime and other additional benefits
Desired Qualifications & Attributes Proven experience working with injection moulding machinery. Completed engineering apprenticeship, with relevant qualifications. Post‑qualification practical experience in an engineering environment. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Experience in a field service role is beneficial (but not essential). Excellent fault‑finding, analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Confident communicator with strong listening skills. IT literate. Positive “can‑do” attitude and commitment to high‑quality work. Full, UK driving licence.
What You’ll Do Install, service, repair and carry out preventative maintenance on products. Provide on‑site support to customers across the UK & Ireland (with overnight stays). Produce high‑quality service reports and customer documentation after each visit. Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through strong technical skills and a professional approach.
