My client is looking for a Head of Mobile Engineering to lead and scale their Android and iOS teams during an exciting growth phase. This is a high-impact role where you’ll own the mobile strategy end-to-end—defining the roadmap, building the team, and staying close to the technology to guide key decisions and delivery.
Own and execute the mobile roadmap , aligning engineering with product strategy, commercial goals, and faster time-to-market Define and drive technical architecture across Android and iOS, ensuring long-term scalability, maintainability, and performance Remain hands-on when needed —contributing to code reviews, solving complex technical challenges, and supporting delivery Champion engineering excellence , driving best practices, modern development approaches, and continuous improvement Improve app performance, stability, and user experience , with a strong focus on quality at scale 8+ years in mobile engineering, with 2+ years leading teams~ Deep expertise in Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) , with exposure to both~ Experience building and scaling high-traffic mobile apps~ Kotlin Multiplatform or other cross-platform experience Background in AdTech, telecoms, or B2B2C environments
