This is initially a contract role for 7 months.

About you

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar finance support role
  • Proven working knowledge of Sage 50 accounting software
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills with keen attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly within Office 365 including MS Word, MS Teams, SharePoint, and Excel (basic formulas)
  • A team player with a collaborative approach and a willingness to learn new skills
  • Adaptable, proactive, and committed to process improvement

What you’ll do

  • Process and pay supplier invoices efficiently and accurately
  • Raise purchase orders in adherence to procurement policies
  • Manage staff expense claims weekly
  • Maintain electronic filing systems for all financial documentation
  • Handle customer invoicing and daily bank receipt postings
  • Reconcile bank accounts and address queries from customers and suppliers promptly
  • Provide general administrative and financial support to the team
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance financial processes and find efficiencies
