Analyst (Qualitative) – Primary, Community Care and Inequalities Team – Homebased – Flexible, United Kingdom
Grade C: 34,890 (National) or 40,746 (London for London office based or homebased workers within the boundary of the M25) There is also an additional homeworking allowance of 600 per annum for those working from home. For part time roles please note this will be pro rata.
Contracted Hours:Full-time 37 hours per week or Part-time 30 hours per week. Talk to us about compressed hours.

- As a Qualitative Analyst in our Primary, Community Care and Inequalities Team, you might get the chance to work on a major review by designing and delivering qualitative research that captures the voices of people using health and social care services.
- As a Qualitative Analyst, you could lead a new data collection initiative where existing data is limited, helping CQC better understand emerging risks and trends.
The role
Youll play an important part in delivering our mission. In this role, youll:
- Deliver meaningful insight: Analyse qualitative and mixed data from different sources, turning it into clear and useful findings that support better decisions.
- Create engaging outputs: Develop reports and visualisations that communicate insight in a simple and compelling way for a range of audiences.
- Work with stakeholders: Collaborate with colleagues and partners to shape analysis, making sure outputs meet their needs and are fit for purpose.

We will be looking for specific skills, knowledge and experience in your application form:
- Experience carrying out qualitative analysis, including collecting, coding and interpreting large volumes of data to produce clear findings.
- Experience using a range of research or analytical methods, including some understanding of quantitative data, and choosing the right approach for the task.
- Experience presenting insights in a clear way, such as through written reports, storytelling or visual formats, tailored to different audiences.
