Plymouth based manufacturing company, known for their high-quality products, is seeking a talented Senior Process Engineer / CI Engineer to join the growing team. The company supplies to some of the largest companies worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence by developing and refining manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality products and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement process improvements that boost productivity and reduce costs.
- Leverage lean manufacturing principles to identify and eliminate waste, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to build a collaborative and effective network.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Chemical Engineering or related field with a strong foundation in process engineering principles.
- Significant experience in process engineering, with a track record of successfully optimizing manufacturing processes and driving operational improvements.
- Excellent knowledge and implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changing priorities and challenges in a dynamic industry.
