THE ROLE

  • Ensure the efficient running of the shop floor, achieving the highest levels of customer service, sales and profit.
  • Support the management team in overseeing personnel, product & merchandising functions, business processes and results for the store.
  • Participate in weekly management meetings and other staff meetings.
  • Clearly communicate to staff all marketing and sales promotions.
  • Drive shop floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating the team, offering customers an exemplary store journey.
  • Foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and colleagues fairly and consistently.
  • Support the team in delivering the business strategy, ensuring everyone has consistent training on product knowledge and store maintenance.
  • Achieve company standards for personal sales results: sales vs budgets, sales per hour, and units per transaction.
  • Perform manager‑on‑duty functions, manage store opening/closing operations and the sales floor.
  • Emphasize the importance of quality relationships with internal & external customers.
  • Build staff accountability for creating a repeat customer base through spirited service.
  • Ensure “door to floor” best practices with visual merchandising directives for the sales floor and back room are executed consistently.
  • Collaborate with the management team to build a talent pool for key positions, including potential successors.

YOU

  • Have a prior track record in supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand.
  • Possess people‑management experience and the ability to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements.
  • Be an effective communicator capable of building relationships with ease.
  • Be a team player who recognizes and celebrates the contributions and achievements of others.
  • Provide feedback that promotes positive behavioral change.
  • Adapt quickly and work well with change, maintaining pace.
  • Be energetic and authentic, showing a clear presence on the shop floor.
  • Approach issues with a ‘can‑do’ attitude and act with initiative to find in‑store solutions.
