Role Description

This is a part-time remote position for a Brand Positioning & Social Media Strategy Manager. The role involves developing and implementing effective brand positioning strategies and crafting impactful social media campaigns. Core responsibilities include creating and managing content calendars, analyzing social media metrics, ensuring brand consistency across platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen online presence. The candidate will also monitor industry trends to keep the brand relevant in the digital space.

  • Skills in Social Media Strategy, Content Calendar Management, and Social Media Engagement
  • Knowledge of Brand Positioning, Brand Development, and Market Research aligned with industry trends
  • Proficiency in Analytics Tools for measuring social media performance and refining strategies
  • Proven ability to create compelling content to enhance audience engagement
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus

This is a strategic research and positioning role, not a general admin role. The main goal is to help identify suitable social media niches, audience angles, content formats and testing strategies for a small business / founder-led brand.

Responsibilities:

* Research suitable social media niches and content directions for Western platforms.

* Analyse TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn accounts with strong growth or clear positioning.

* Identify content angles that are visually engaging, audience-driven and commercially realistic.

* Build a shortlist of 3–5 possible positioning directions for a founder-led brand.

* Create a practical content testing plan, including hooks, formats, video ideas and posting angles.

* Review basic content performance data and recommend what to test next.

* Advise on account positioning, audience targeting, tone of voice and content structure.

* Prepare concise strategy notes and monthly recommendations.

Requirements:

* Legal right to work in the UK.

* UK National Insurance number for payroll.

* Experience or strong understanding of social media strategy, personal branding, creator economy, digital marketing or content growth.

* Strong analytical ability and good judgement.

* Able to explain why certain content performs well, not just describe what is trending.

* Comfortable researching TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn.

* Able to produce clear written recommendations and content testing plans.

* Experience with founder-led brands, influencer marketing, short-form video or brand positioning is preferred.
