Senior Sales Partner – Live Sports & Events (6-Month Contract)

£800–£1,100/day

A globally recognised streaming and entertainment platform is seeking a commercially driven Senior Sales Partner to support the monetisation of a growing portfolio of premium live sports and entertainment events in the UK market.

This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role focused on building direct advertiser relationships and driving commercial partnerships across major live event programming.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on sales operator capable of managing the full commercial lifecycle, from outreach and relationship activation through to pitching, negotiation and deal closure.

This is not a strategic sponsorship or partnerships planning role. The business is specifically looking for a commercially aggressive seller who can independently generate opportunities, build relationships and drive revenue quickly within a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive direct advertiser and brand engagement across premium live sports and entertainment inventory
  • Own the end-to-end sales process from prospecting through to commercial close
  • Develop sponsorship and advertising proposals aligned to live event opportunities
  • Pitch directly to senior brand stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Build and activate relationships with advertisers aligned to premium sports and live entertainment
  • Collaborate with internal sales, activation and commercial teams to support go-to-market execution
  • Help maximise revenue opportunities across a fast-moving live events portfolio
  • Hand over successfully closed campaigns to activation and operations teams post-sale

Live Event Portfolio

Current and upcoming live opportunities include:

  • NFL
  • Boxing
  • WWE
  • International tennis events
  • Global live entertainment programming
  • UK-based premium live events

Candidates should understand both premium sports sponsorship environments and how to position more niche live properties to the right advertisers.

Ideal Background

  • 10+ years’ experience within sports sales, sponsorship sales, media sales or live entertainment commercial partnerships
  • Strong direct relationships with major UK advertisers and premium consumer brands
  • Proven ability to independently prospect, pitch and close commercial opportunities
  • Demonstrated track record generating revenue from live sports or event-based inventory
  • Comfortable operating in high-autonomy, high-accountability environments
  • Strong client-facing presentation and negotiation skills
  • Sports-first background preferred, although live entertainment/music experience may also be relevant
  • Broadcaster, streaming, sports media or sponsorship agency backgrounds highly relevant
  • Confident operating independently with a highly proactive, revenue-focused mindset

Important:

Candidates who are primarily strategic, consultative or partnership-focused without strong closing experience are unlikely to be the right fit.
