Additionally, they confer with and advise direct reports on administrative policies and procedures, risks, issues, problem resolution, sourcing decisions, budget and priorities. Key Responsibilities Sets clear performance objectives for self and staff and measures performance against objectives Builds long-term relationships within team by creating an environment of safety and innovation, championing open and honest communication and leading with integrity Support entities delivering to the supported business unit field organizations Engage resources to facilitate escalation/resolution of technology issues raised by the business units Manages day to day work of employees by monitoring budgets, expenses, scope, and facilitating project delivery and support for projects of critical importance. Executes team strategy in support of Enterprise goals, clearly communicating strategy to the team Deliver a wide range of services including onsite delivery leadership for major projects Direct the business in navigating through the process for acquiring products and services Engage technology resources in providing solutions which assure stability, minimize burden and enhance competitive posture to meet business demand. Own the delivery of regulatory and compliance reporting, dashboards, and visualisations, ensuring outputs are accurate, controlled, auditable, and suitable for regulatory scrutiny. Lead frontend reporting and dashboard creation, either hands-on or through the team, designing clear, consistent visualisations that present complex risk and compliance data in an understandable and defensible way. Apply strong data and visualisation expertise to define metrics, controls, visual standards, and analytical approaches that support regulatory oversight and compliance assurance. Translate regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements into data, reporting, and analytical solutions, ensuring reporting evidences control effectiveness and highlights emerging risks. Lead the team’s maturity from reporting into analytics, developing capability to move beyond descriptive metrics into insight led analysis that identifies trends, anomalies, and control gaps. Drive data automation, including automated data ingestion, transformation, refresh, and validation to reduce manual effort while improving reliability, traceability, and repeatability. Ensure strong data quality, governance, and control, including clear ownership, consistent definitions, lineage, and auditability of both automated data pipelines and frontend reporting outputs. Manage the relationship between the team and a business unit, understanding the business roadmap and developing and delivering timely communications to the business relevant to the technology roadmap, including business area implications. A minimum of 4 year’s experience in data and visualisation using modern BI tools, regularly reviewing and improving dashboards and insight products to increase interpretability and reduce reporting ambiguity; able to challenge design decisions and guide teams to deliver outputs that meet defined business requirements. Experience transforming complex data into actionable insights, producing reports and narratives that clearly link findings to business outcomes, resulting in improved decision-making and increased stakeholder confidence in reporting accuracy. A minimum of 2 year’s experience in leading and developing high-performing analytics teams, setting measurable objectives, coaching analysts/engineers, conducting performance reviews, and building a culture focused on learning, quality, and continuous improvement. Desirable Skills: Experience operating in a metrics, insights, or reporting function supporting technology, operations, or enterprise services. Knowledge of visual design and data storytelling principles, ensuring insights are intuitive, accessible, and influence decision-making. Familiarity with ITSM concepts and tools, and how reporting supports incident, problem, risk, or performance management. Experience working with data engineers, analytics engineers, or data scientists, bridging the gap between raw data and business insight. Understanding of automation or self-service reporting approaches, reducing manual effort and improving scalability. Exposure to advanced analytics or emerging capabilities (e.g. predictive insights, AI-assisted analysis, or LLM-supported reporting).
