Job Description:

We are looking for a highly driven and commercially minded Collections Booking Manager to lead and develop our Collection Bookings function. This is a pivotal, client-facing role where you will work closely with corporate clients to manage bookings, review service offerings, and continuously drive operational improvements across the supply chain.You will lead a team of Collection Bookings Coordinators, ensuring that all collection activities are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with service commitments. With a strong focus on data, performance, and innovation, you will play a key role in enhancing service delivery while identifying opportunities to optimise costs and improve processes across the network.What you’ll be doing:Lead and develop a high-performing team of Collection Bookings Coordinators Manage end-to-end scheduling of collections, returns, transport, and operational assets in line with SLAs and budgets Build strong client relationships, acting as a key contact to review services and drive continuous improvements Support onboarding of new clients, ensuring smooth integration into the network Oversee asset tracking, availability, condition, and reporting across the operation Lead peak planning, including forecasting, route optimisation, and cost management Analyse data to identify inefficiencies, reduce costs, and improve operational performance Drive innovation through new technologies, processes, and supplier collaborationsWhat you’ll bring to the role: Full UK driving licence (occasional travel required) Experience operating across a multi-site or complex supply chain environment Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics and operational processes Proven experience in process improvement, business analysis, and implementing efficiencies Experience in leading or developing teams in an operational setting Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills (including data analysis, reporting, and presentations) Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into practical solutions Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to prioritise effectively and adapt in a fast-paced environment A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem-solvingWhat We Can Offer You: 33 days of annual leave (including Bank Holidays) Opportunities to grow and develop your career in a strong, stable business.
