Join Legal & General Asset Management as the new Head of Product Governance, where you’ll lead a high‑impact team shaping the product lifecycle strategy. This senior leadership role influences product governance across diverse investment capabilities and jurisdictions, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure products meet regulatory standards, customer needs and strategic goals.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the strategic management of product lifecycle governance across key product vehicles
  • Managing and developing a high‑performing, inclusive team with a culture of flexibility and excellence
  • Overseeing product launches, amendments and closures aligned with commercial priorities
  • Coordinating with legal, compliance and fund boards to meet governance obligations
  • Allocating and monitoring seed capital in line with strategic investment plans
  • Embedding responsible investment and regulatory change initiatives into product governance
  • Engaging operational teams and service providers to ensure smooth delivery and oversight
  • Representing LGIM at governance committees, fund boards and industry panels

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and influence across teams
  • Strong knowledge of pooled product structures across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience in product strategy, development and lifecycle management
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including board‑level interaction
  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and governance standards
  • High attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Professional qualifications such as IMC, CFA or CAIA (or equivalent) desirable
  • Commitment to delivering good customer outcomes and embedding Consumer Duty principles
