Team Structure and Responsibilities
We are recruiting a Senior Events Manager to join and lead our high performing events team on an FTC to cover a maternity leave. The events team manages a wide range of events for the London office, and occasionally internationally, including client seminars, drinks receptions, in-house dinners, and a large annual off‑site conference.
The Senior Events Manager will personally lead on high‑profile and complex events and will be responsible for a busy and varied events calendar across multiple practice groups and international offices. Events will be delivered on time, on budget and to a consistently high standard with the support of the events team (Events Manager, Events Executive and Events Assistant). In addition, the role will manage event‑related operational areas, initiatives and the Firm’s annual Partner’s Conference.
The core working hours will be 9.30 am‑5.30 pm each day; however, you will be expected to flex working hours to support events that run out of hours. This will change each week depending on the events calendar. Most events are booked six weeks in advance so you will know your schedule in advance (typically Tuesday‑Thursday’s will finish later to cater to event needs).
You will be expected to work from the office three days per week to be aligned with the events calendar.
