Junior Company Secretary – Financial Services (2–3 Month Contract)
Our client, a well-established financial services business, is seeking a Junior Company Secretary to join their team on an initial 2–3 month contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with prior company secretarial experience looking to join a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with day-to-day company secretarial matters across the business
- Preparing board packs, agendas, minutes, and resolutions
- Maintaining statutory books and corporate records
- Supporting with Companies House filings and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Coordinating meetings and assisting with governance-related administration
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and service providers as required
- Providing general support to the legal and governance function
Candidate Requirements:
- 1–5 years of relevant company secretarial experience, ideally within financial services
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and statutory compliance requirements
- Experience supporting boards and committees is advantageous
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Available to start immediately
- Full right to work in the UK is essential
