Hours:
Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm (flexibility on times available). You will be required to attend evening meetings with clients on an ad hoc basis, with time off in lieu.

As a Portfolio Manager, you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of residential properties, acting as the central point of contact for clients, leaseholders, and contractors. You’ll manage everything from day-to-day maintenance to compliance, budgeting, and client meetings. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone who thrives on variety, autonomy, and building strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Client & Resident Engagement: Liaise with freeholders, leaseholders, RMCs, RTMs, and developers to manage expectations and resolve issues.
- Property Maintenance: Oversee repairs, obtain quotes, and manage contractors through to completion.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure buildings meet Health & Safety, Fire Risk, and Asbestos regulations.
- Financial Oversight: Draft service charge budgets, manage collections, and liaise with solicitors on arrears.
- Reporting & Meetings: Conduct monthly site visits, prepare reports, and lead quarterly and annual meetings.
- Company Secretary Duties: Support with filings, share certificates, and director appointments.
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in block management
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Confident leading meetings and managing client relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management systems
- Minimum of ATPI (AIRPM) qualification
- Full UK driving licence beneficial
