Role Overview
The IT Asset Management Delivery Head will lead and mature the organization’s Hardware and Software Asset Management (ITAM) function, driving vendor governance, license optimization, compliance, and cost efficiency while delivering strategic business value.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and manage OEM contract strategy and renewals (Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, SAP, VMware, etc.)
• Lead vendor negotiations and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
• Drive license rationalization and cost optimization initiatives
• Establish ITAM governance, policies, and CMDB data integrity
• Manage software compliance and vendor audits
• Lead ITAM teams and stakeholder collaboration across IT, Finance, and Procurement
• Oversee hardware & software lifecycle management
• Manage ITAM tools (ServiceNow ITAM, Flexera, Snow, or similar)
Required Experience
• 15+ years in ITAM / SAM / Technology Procurement
• 5+ years in leadership role
• Strong OEM licensing and contract management expertise
• Experience delivering cost savings and compliance outcomes
• Knowledge of ITAM tools, CMDB, and reporting platforms
Preferred
• CITAM / CSAM Certification
• ITIL v4
• FinOps or Cloud Asset Management exposure
