A well-established consumer brand in the personal care sector is seeking a Junior Product Development Manager to support the delivery of new product initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain end-to-end exposure within a fast-paced, regulated environment.

The Role

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will support the development and execution of new products from concept through to launch. You’ll contribute to project delivery, ensuring timelines, costs, and quality standards are met while gaining hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the evaluation of new product ideas and assist in developing clear product briefs
  • Contribute to building business cases using market, consumer, and commercial insights
  • Assist in managing development projects to ensure delivery against timelines, specifications, and cost targets
  • Maintain and update project plans, tracking progress and highlighting risks
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders in a timely and structured manner
  • Support product testing and validation to ensure quality, safety, and performance standards
  • Help prepare technical documentation for regulatory compliance and approvals
  • Assist with supplier coordination, onboarding, and cost tracking
  • Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and Packaging teams

About You

  • 1–2 years’ experience in product development, NPD, product management, or a related role
  • Background in FMCG, healthcare, medical devices, or another regulated industry is preferred
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and project coordination skills
  • Analytical, with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with both technical and commercial teams
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Commercial awareness, with a basic understanding of financial metrics (e.g. P&L, margin, COGS)
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and keen to learn
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
