The Alpha Academies Trust (AAT) islooking to recruit an experienced Trust Payroll Officer to work in our busyteam. Applications are invited from candidates who have excellent organisation,customer service and Payroll experience. You will have the dedication andenthusiasm to be part of a thoroughly committed team. Applicants must becomputer literate and proficient in the use of Word and Excel. Knowledge ofArbor/HR systems in desirable, but not essential as training will be given. Thesuccessful applicant will:
- Haveworked in a similar role.
- Havean understanding of teacher and local government pay and conditions, andpension schemes.
- Maintaina high level of confidentiality at all times.
- Havean understanding of HMRC requirements in relation to payroll.
- Ensureaccuracy and integrity of data.
- Experienceof using ‘My View.’
- Strongwritten and verbal communication skills.
- Bedetail orientated.
- Haveanalytical skills.
Alpha Academies Trust’s Head Office isbased a The Discovery Academy in Stoke-on-Trent. The postholder may be requiredto work across all academy sites, therefore access to personal transport isessential.
