Finance Manager – Real Estate Investment & Development (London)
A leading UK-based real estate investment, development and asset management business is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its growing team. With a strong track record spanning over two decades, the company specialises in multi-unit commercial property schemes and has an expanding presence across the UK and Europe.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, controls, and day-to-day finance operations across a complex group structure. You will also manage and develop a small team.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Lead the year-end audit process and act as the primary contact for external auditors
- Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements for multiple entities
- Support the production of quarterly consolidated management accounts
- Prepare and present financial information for board reporting
Financial Management
- Oversee credit control and invoicing processes
- Manage cash flow across multiple entities, ensuring timely payments
- Supervise and support a team of accountants and finance staff
- Ensure purchase ledger and banking activities are completed accurately and on time
- Manage online banking platforms and payment processes
Business Partnering & Operations
- Liaise with investors, lenders, and professional advisors on transactions and ongoing matters
- Support financial aspects of acquisitions, disposals, and leasing activity
- Ensure compliance with current financial regulations and reporting standards
Candidate Profile
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS102)
- Experience managing audits and multi-entity reporting
- Solid Excel skills, including use of formulas and data analysis
- Proven ability to manage and develop junior team members
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage) is beneficial but not essential
Location & Working Pattern
- London-based office
