Regional HR Business Partner, North
£50,000 – £55,000 per annum plus car allowance
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join a private-equity backed engineering business in North Yorkshire, with offices and sites across the North. Reporting into the Head of HR, the HR Business Partner will partner a number of businesses and functions to develop people plans, drive HR initiatives and implement effective HR strategies. This is a remote role with travel and will mostly cover sites in Burnley, Newcastle and Leeds, so would suit someone in any of these locations.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals
- Provide expert advice on organisational design, workforce planning, and talent management
- Lead on employee relations matters, ensuring consistent and fair application of policies and procedures
- Support change management initiatives, including restructures and transformation projects
- Analyse HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
- Coach and support managers to build leadership capability and drive performance
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and best practices
Skills/experience:
- Proven experience in a similar HR Business Partner role
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Data-driven with strong analytical capabilities
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above preferred)
This is a permanent regional role offering circa £50,000 – £55,000 per annum plus car or car allowance.
