Real Estate Lawyer (Contract – 3 Months, Potential Extension/Permanent)
Full Time, Office Based
Our client, a reputable and growing property investor, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Lawyer (5+ PQE) to join their in‑house legal team on an initial three‑month assignment. There is strong potential for the role to be extended or made permanent.
This is a full‑time, office‑based position (5 days per week) where you will play a key role in managing a diverse caseload of residential and commercial real estate matters. The client has however stated that the priority is commercial real estate (residential experience is preferred but not essential).
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, commercial awareness, and exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a wide range of residential and commercial property transactions.
- Conduct title reviews, property searches, and due diligence.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and related legal documents.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide legal and administrative support to senior lawyers and fee earners within the property team.
- Handle post‑completion work, including registrations and stamp duty submissions.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years PQE with proven experience in residential and/or commercial property law.
- UK Qualified Solicitor.
- Demonstrated capability in managing a high‑volume caseload.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and client‑facing skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
The role is to start as soon as possible so candidates must be available to start immediately.
