We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced individual to support our attendance team.The successful candidate will foster strong working relationships with pupils and families, helping to break down barriers to school attendance and develop strategies to improve motivation and attainment.Applicants should have significant experience of working with children and young people, organising Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs), and supporting attendance tracking and monitoring processes. The Attendance Officer will work closely with the attendance team and Heads of Year to promote and improve whole-school attendance.If you have experience working within this field and are passionate about supporting young people to succeed, we would love to hear from you.Our schoolLlanwern High School is a mixed 11-18 comprehensive school serving much of the eastern side of Newport.
