Job Description:

Overview

The Senior Learning Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to staff within the Learning and Organisational Development functions, ensuring smooth operation of learning and development activities and contributing to overall service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative support to the learning team, handling complex and routine enquiries• Assist in the delivery of high‑quality learning and development opportunities to support staff in providing outstanding patient care and maintaining safe working practices• Promote teamwork, customer service and communication, while supporting the rollout of new systems and functionality• Organise and maintain accurate records, manage scheduling, and contribute to ongoing process improvements

Qualifications

  • Educated to GCSE Level including Maths & English
  • NVQ Level III in Business Administration/Customer Service or equivalent portfolio of experience
  • RSA Level 2, ECDL or equivalent

Knowledge & Experience

  • Knowledge of administrative procedures
  • General administration and office skills experience
  • Data entry and retrieval using databases
  • Experience and knowledge of ESR/OLM
  • NHS experience
  • Experience of collating, analysing and presenting information
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet demands of the role
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritise work and use initiative
  • Knowledge of general office equipment
  • Willingness to learn/adapt working practices to support ongoing improvements within the service
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
