This role sits within a dynamic and progressive Business Innovation department, working across a varied portfolio of corporate and unincorporated clients spanning multiple sectors. You’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality financial information, supporting clients with insight and advice, and helping drive continuous improvement across the department.

The Role

As a Business Innovation Accounts Senior, you will take responsibility for preparing accounts and supporting clients while working closely with senior colleagues within the Business Innovation team. You’ll work at a high level across a diverse client portfolio, using your technical expertise and communication skills to deliver excellent client outcomes. Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Preparation & client work
  • Preparing accounts for micro and small entities
  • Working with both corporate and unincorporated clients across a range of sectors
  • Supporting clients with accurate, timely financial information
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for day‑to‑day client queries
  • Communication & relationship building
  • Building strong, effective working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Communicating clearly and professionally, both written and verbally
  • Working collaboratively within the Business Innovation team
  • Organisation & service delivery
  • Managing workloads effectively to meet deadlines
  • Prioritising tasks across a varied client portfolio
  • Contributing to a culture of high standards, innovation, and continuous improvement

About You

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • AAT Level 4 qualified or part‑qualified ACA / ACCA
  • Strong experience preparing accounts for micro and small entities
  • Commitment to continued professional development (self‑study support provided)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with clients
  • Effective time management and organisational skills

  • Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 (dependent on experience)
