Job Summary

The Associate, Operations Services is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract to support the management of a portfolio of commercial real estate (CRE) loans, ensuring accurate setup, ongoing maintenance, and timely production of rate fixes, drawdowns, and interest notices. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, able to meet tight deadlines, and has solid Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the servicing of a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral UK and European commercial real estate investment and development loans where Trimont acts as Facility Agent and/or Security Agent.
  • Work closely with Trimont’s in‑house Legal team and, where necessary, external counsel, reviewing relevant finance documents prior to loan closing and through the life of the loan.
  • Create financial models, diarise subsequent conditions, construction milestones and other significant events, including the provision of borrower reporting, in line with the relevant finance documents.
  • Liaise with borrowers and their representatives to ensure reporting and other information required under the relevant finance documents are provided in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with lenders, borrowers and their respective lawyers regarding loan redemptions, restructuring, amendments, waivers and other ad‑hoc requests.
  • Process transfers, set up waterfalls and review back‑office calculations.
  • Liaise with project monitors, borrowers and lenders regarding drawdowns and calculate lender splits, if required.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years loan servicing experience in finance, real estate or a related field.
  • Solid analytical skills with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to achieve results in a dynamic setting.
  • Organizational and administrative skills reflecting attention to detail and the ability to prioritize amid competing demands.
  • Skilled in managing sensitive information while upholding privacy.
  • Capability to handle workload and special projects efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
