Project Manager
Location: London, Greater London, United Kingdom (Hybrid: 2 days per week in Central London)
Rate: £640 per day (inside IR35)
Contract: Initial 6 months
The role
We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager (Contract) to lead delivery across two focused initiatives: (1) establishing a cross-functional approach for assessing and implementing successful GEO strategies, coordinating delivery across product and marketing teams; and (2) migrating commercial customers onto a new property API through a phased rollout and sustained customer communication. This is not a coordination-only role; you will engage with detail, challenge assumptions where needed, and take ownership of outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
- Own delivery across both initiatives, ensuring progress, alignment and clear outcomes.
- Translate detailed external inputs (e.g. GEO audit outputs) into prioritised, actionable work.
- Establish lightweight but effective plans, tracking, reporting and governance.
- Identify dependencies, risks and blockers, and drive resolution across multiple teams.
- Work closely with stakeholders to sequence, track and validate implementation.
GEO initiative
- Work through detailed SEO/GEO recommendations to ensure they are understood and implemented effectively.
- Collaborate on content structure, page design and site organisation to deliver quick wins and sustainable operational improvements.
API migration
- Plan and manage rollout of a new property API, including segmentation and phasing.
- Lead coordination of customer communications alongside commercial teams.
- Track adoption, manage exceptions and ensure a smooth transition.
What we’re looking for
- Comfortable being hands-on and working through detail, not managing from a distance.
- Able to switch between analytical work and delivery coordination with ease.
- Proactive, pragmatic and outcome-focused; able to build trust quickly with stakeholders.
- Adaptable across different types of initiatives and changing priorities.
Essential requirements
- Experience delivering tech-focused initiatives in a product-led environment.
- Business analysis experience (e.g. interpreting detailed inputs, clarifying requirements).
- Experience with agile software development methodologies and traditional project management practices.
- Understanding of website structure and software architecture to contribute effectively from day one.
- Proven ability to manage cross-team dependencies and drive progress without direct authority.
Desirable
- Exposure to SEO/GEO or website optimisation work.
- Experience managing customer migrations or rollout programmes.
- Familiarity with Jira.
