Software Engineer

Contract TypeScript / Node.js Engineer (SC Cleared) – Outside IR35

Rate: £450–£475/day – Outside IR35

Contract Length: 6-month contract (strong likelihood of extension)

Location: Remote

**Must hold active SC clearance (transferable)**

We’re partnered with a high-growth technology consultancy delivering a multi-year, large-scale transformation programme within a secure environment.

They’re looking for a TypeScript / Node.js Engineer to join the team, working on modern, scalable systems with real impact.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and enhancing backend services using TypeScript / Node.js
• Contributing to the development of modern, cloud-native applications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
• Writing clean, scalable, and well-tested code
• Supporting delivery across a complex, high-impact programme

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience working in agile, delivery-focused teams
• Comfortable working within secure / regulated environments
• Active SC clearance (essential)

Nice to have

• Experience with Java
• Experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks
