Field Service Engineer

Location: Surrey / Berkshire area

Salary: £38,000 – £44,000 (Dependent on experience) + Excellent Benefits & Overtime

Patch: Regional Local Patch (No Central London Work)

Overview

Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer looking for a regional role without Central London travel?

We represent a market-leading, globally recognized manufacturer of premium commercial washing equipment. Known for engineering excellence and top-tier build quality, they pride themselves on looking after their engineers with realistic regional patches, excellent training, and a fantastic work-life balance.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer based ideally in or around the GU or RG postcode area to support our client base.

Responsibilities

  • Attend commercial and hospitality sites (restaurants, hotels, corporate headquarters, and schools) to maintain high-end equipment.
  • Fault‑finding, servicing and repairing commercial washing systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
  • Manage your own van stock and work efficiently across a dedicated local/regional patch.

Qualifications

  • Strong electrical skills: Proven experience, ideally with 3‑phase electrical systems.
  • Mechanical aptitude: Solid experience with pumps, hydraulics or general mechanical components.
  • Experience: Background in commercial catering, warewashing, white goods or laundry equipment desirable; electro‑mechanical backgrounds with 3‑phase experience also considered.
  • License: Full UK driving licence.
