Sounds great, what will I be doing?
In this role, you will partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs, service requirements and ideal candidate profiles, delivering a targeted and effective approach to sourcing talent. You will proactively engage both active and passive candidates through a variety of channels, including CV databases, professional networks and applicant tracking systems.
You will conduct thorough candidate screenings, ensuring alignment of skills, experience and values, while supporting a positive and inclusive candidate experience. You will also build strong local networks by attending recruitment events and developing relationships with job centres, universities and colleges, as well as working closely with the volunteering team to promote opportunities.
Working collaboratively with Recruitment & Onboarding Administrators, you will ensure vacancies are advertised promptly and progress within agreed timescales, while monitoring roles on hold to keep recruitment activity on track. You will also develop and maintain talent pools within the ATS, building pipelines for current and future roles.
You will ensure all recruitment activity complies with organisational and legal requirements and stay informed of best practice, continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.

You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don’t have to tickallthe boxes right away; the important thing is that you’re willing to learn. We are looking for someone with proven experience in a Talent Acquisition or resourcing role, with a strong track record of building and maintaining talent pools and successfully filling hard-to-fill vacancies. You will be confident using CV databases, Boolean search techniques and applicant tracking systems, with experience in the health and social care or charity sector being highly desirable.
You will bring excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. A collaborative team player, you will be able to work flexibly with others while also feeling confident working independently, knowing when to take initiative and when to escalate.
With a strong understanding of recruitment best practice, you will have a clear focus on candidate experience and employer value proposition. Most importantly, you will be motivated by and aligned with Hestia’s values, bringing passion and commitment to delivering high-quality, inclusive recruitment.
When will I be working?
This is a hybrid role, initially requiring 3 days in our head office. This will drop to 2 days per week after 6 months. We have a set office day of Wednesday.

- Shortlisting call: We have a team of dedicated recruitment specialists who will speak to you about your experience, motivations and values. They will also tell you about all the great work we do!
- Face to face interview: Now you will have face to face interview with the hiring manager. Our interviews are value and competency based.
