Management Accountant | FMCG Challenger Brands

£55K – £60K + Bonus
Work across B-Corp FMCG challenger brands – the kind reshaping what people eat and how they buy it.
You’ll support these brands through their monthly business planning cycle, working alongside a wider finance team within the organisation.
This isn’t finance stuck in a silo. You’ll prepare management information that actually gets used by founders and senior teams making strategic calls, and then see how that information shapes what appears on supermarket shelves.
And you will have mentoring and a strong support structure in place from their leadership team.
What you’ll do
Month-end accounting and management reporting across their brands. You’ll prepare monthly financial accounts to relevant standards, complete balance sheet reconciliations (stock, purchases, commercial accruals), and support the production of management accounts.
Budget production and variance analysis. You’ll produce monthly departmental variance reports, highlighting performance against budget spend. You’ll also assist Financial Controllers with annual budgets and cashflow forecasting where needed (with a clear pathway to grow into more forward looking responsibilities over time).
What you’ll need
- Qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or similar)
- If ACA, you will need to have had consumer / FMCG client exposure and accounts prep, not straight from audit
- Consumer goods industry experience is required – wholesale / retail / online channels.
- Stock management and cost accounting knowledge.
