OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our team in Oldham.
Mot tester licence advantageous but NOT essential.
Salary for a Commercial Vehicle tehcnician is experience dependent, starting salary is between 34,000 and 35,000 more for the right person with a ote of 40,000+ uncapped
Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings Paid as overtime
Responsibilities of a Commercial Vehicle technician– Servicing and maintaining light commercial vehicles
– Carrying out all kinds of jobs on engines, gearbox and components
– Working to repair jobs as per job cards and reporting any extra work
– Working as a team with other service and parts teams
Requirements of a Commercial Vehicle Technician– Mechanical knowledge to maintain vehicles effectively– Proficiency in using power tools for installation tasks– Capability for heavy lifting during installations– Skilful use of hand tools for repairs and adjustments– Strong customer service skills to interact with clients professionally– Experience in equipment repair and maintenance
You will need a Full uk driving licence, your own tools and checkable work history as my clients will seek references. Level 3 imi / nvq or city and guilds.
You need to have a right to work in the Uk as there is no possibility of a work sponsorship for this role
