We are seeking to recruit a Senior Product Specialist for our Private Markets platform, specifically for Infrastructure Equity strategies. The position is based in our London or Munich office.
What you do
- Work within the Private Markets product specialists’ team and collaborate closely with investment teams to serve as an advocate for the Infrastructure Equity strategies.
- Provide expert knowledge of strategies, products, investment process, and philosophy and communicate/present this to sales teams, distribution partners, and clients.
- Act as the external and internal voice of the investment team and serve as the interface between investment professionals and the sales and marketing professionals (e.g., investment‑related content for marketing purposes).
- Actively support fundraising efforts and participate at marketing events, as well as client and consultant meetings.
- Write and articulate portfolio‑relevant commentaries to support the product presentations and positioning of our capabilities. In addition, deliver the required portfolio and investment strategy‑related content to the RFP team and client service entities.
- Stay abreast of the strategy’s performance in context to relevant competitor products and explain performance relative to the market environment and peers.
- Participate in product development initiatives as well as distribution initiatives for the respective strategies.
What you bring
- Academic degree in Economics, Finance, or a similar environment. CFA, CIIA or similar qualification is helpful.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in a Product Specialist, institutional sales (with focus on Private Markets), product management or investment role.
- Specific experience in Private Market strategies is a must, ideally Infrastructure Equity.
- Proven track record of developing new business resulting in a growing share of business.
- Ambitious and organized personality with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong can‑do attitude with internal and external clients and responsiveness to their needs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to tailor messages for a diverse range of audiences and to clearly articulate investment content.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally, cross‑regionally and cross‑culturally in a large organization.
- Mentor and influencer with intellectual and cultural curiosity, who thrives in a collegiate environment.
- Proficiency in English is a must; additional language skills (ideally German) are a plus.
- This role includes business travels.
- Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices.
