CAD Design Engineer

Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing company, seeking a talented CAD Designer to join their dynamic team. This is a permanent role, offering a competitive salary range of £40,000 to £55,000 per annum. Preferred Requirements:

• Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor, to create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D designs.
• Excellent understanding of engineering principles, technical specifications, and manufacturing processes to ensure design feasibility and functionality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to translate conceptual ideas into tangible designs.
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to engineering and manufacturing.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to present your designs and ideas to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven track record of successful CAD design projects in the engineering and manufacturing sector.
• Continuous learning mindset and a willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest CAD software and design methodologies.
