40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with Saturday on rota. Competitive salary plus pension and company benefits. We have an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and motivated Retail Branch Manager to lead the team at our busy branch in Salford.
Located at Ivy House on Liverpool Street, our Salford branch proudly serves local homeowners and tradespeople with the broadest range of decorating materials. The branch opening hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 5:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Managing a team of four, you will play a vital part in helping us serve customers and keep the branch running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate management or supervisory experience in a similar or relevant role.
- Develop a strong team.
- Achieve sales targets and generate new business.
- Inspire staff to achieve high levels of customer service.
- Represent the Company positively to a wide range of customers.
- Work on own initiative.
- Knowledge of the local area would be beneficial.
Qualifications
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive excellence.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations.
- Previous experience in the Decorative Industry is an advantage but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Approachable, open and friendly personality; happy to help customers and colleagues.
- Enjoys working and supporting a team, yet can be relied upon to work independently.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
- Willing to attend training to become a Fire Risk Assessment Certificate holder.
