We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Operations Supervisor at Cambridge.
Working Hours
40 hours per week. Shift pattern: Sunday 23.00 – 08.00, Monday to Thursday 20.30 – 08.30 (1 hour break).
Compensation
£16.57 per hour (premia paid for hours worked between 19.00‑22.00 and 22.00‑06.00).
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of operatives and drivers.
- Ensure all team members are motivated and treated fairly and consistently.
- Plan and take action to achieve service level targets.
- Educate your team on business goals and service objectives.
- Ensure your team follows safe, secure and operationally compliant working practices during the shift.
Qualifications
- Experience managing a shift and team in a busy freight processing environment is desirable.
- Ability to manage own and team’s time effectively with attention to detail.
- Energetic and enthusiastic.
- Strong customer focus.
- Good communication skills.
