About the Role
We are supporting a private equity-backed carve-out of a global business, requiring additional finance capability to support a complex separation programme.
The Finance Business Partner will work closely with operational and functional leads, providing financial insight, challenge, and decision support throughout the transition to a standalone entity.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with functional leads to support decision-making during the separation
- Provide financial analysis on carve-out impacts, cost structures, and performance
- Support development of standalone budgets, forecasts, and business plans
- Analyse TSA costs and support optimisation/exit strategies
- Drive cost visibility and support cost control initiatives
- Assist in defining new reporting and performance metrics
- Support scenario analysis and financial modelling
- Work closely with finance leadership to track programme impact
- Challenge assumptions and provide commercial insight
Requirements
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Strong Finance Business Partnering experience in complex organisations
- Experience in carve-out, transformation, or PE environments desirable
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
- Commercial mindset with ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
- Clear communicator, able to simplify complex financial information
- Proactive, hands-on approach
