About the role:
The Business Analyst is responsible for analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the delivery of technology and operational solutions. This role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are understood, documented, and translated into actionable outcomes.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and define clear, concise requirements.
- Analyse existing processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities.
- Recommend improvements and support the implementation of process optimisation initiatives.
- Document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Support the development lifecycle through requirement clarification, testing coordination, and feedback.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), including planning, test case creation, and execution support.
- Manage relationships with business units, ensuring clear communication and expectation alignment.
- Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders at all levels.
- Maintain accurate traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare insights, dashboards, or reports as required.
The Person:
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong business acumen and an ability to understand how systems impact operations.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst (typically 2–5 years).
- Strong understanding of business process modelling techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience writing requirements documents, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Strong communication both inside the wider IT team, third party developers and internal stakeholders
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, or digital transformation projects.
- Previous experience in the refinement of Microsoft Business Central solutions.
- Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools (Qliksense, PowerBI).
