Deputy Head Teacher

Futures are supporting a welcoming and ambitious primary school in the South Sheffield area to appoint an experienced and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to join the leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong Year 6 practitioner with proven leadership experience at Assistant Headteacher level or above. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving school improvement, supporting teaching and learning across the school, and leading on raising attainment and outcomes.

The role will include:

• Teaching responsibilities within Year 6
• Supporting whole-school leadership and strategic development
• Driving high standards of teaching, learning and assessment
• Coaching and supporting colleagues across the school
• Working closely with senior leaders to ensure excellent pupil outcomes

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a strong track record of improving outcomes, particularly in Upper KS2
• Is an outstanding classroom practitioner
• Has leadership experience within a primary setting
• Can motivate, inspire and develop staff and pupils alike
• Is committed to inclusive practice and high expectations for all children
