Building Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor on their West Midlands projects. This is a pivotal role within the construction team, responsible for overseeing the delivery of mechanical and electrical building services across a diverse portfolio of commercial and public sector developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all building services activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Lead and mentor site teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality, health, and safety standards.
• Review design documentation and contribute to value engineering and risk management processes.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners to maintain strong relationships and clear communication.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Building Services Manager within a Tier 1 contractor or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and public health building services.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors on large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant qualifications in building services, engineering, or construction management.
