About the candidate

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Math and English (grades A-C)
• Studying towards or planning to pursue a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
• Strong interest in finance within the FMCG sector
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience is a plus

Key responsibilities include

• Assisting with management accounts and variance analysis
• Supporting group reporting and reconciliations
• Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations and financial record-keeping
• Supporting payroll, budgeting, and forecasting tasks
• Preparing journals and assisting with external audits and compliance
